How can I install the embed widget to a product template (1 min)?

⚠️ Important Note

The BYOB embed widget does not appear inside your regular product pages (PDPs). It is displayed only on a separate product page that uses the automatically generated byob-embed template. This template copies your theme’s product layout and styling, so it looks identical to your normal product pages but it is a standalone page created specifically for bundles, not for individual products.

How to install the embed widget (1 min)

The BYOB embed widget allows your bundle builder to match your theme’s product page style, while existing as its own dedicated product template.

Steps:

1. Open your Theme Editor
   Go to Online Store → Themes → Customize.
2. Locate the automatically generated byob-embed template
   BYOB creates this template automatically when the app is installed.
   It inherits your store’s default product design so the bundle builder seamlessly fits your theme.
3. Add the BYOB app block
   Inside the byob-embed template, add the block “BYOB Mini – Embed Widget.”
   This is what loads the bundle builder on your storefront.
4. Hide unnecessary product elements
   Since this template is for bundles only, hide or remove:
   • Option/variant selectors
   • Add to cart button
   • Quantity selector
   • Share button
5. Save the template in the theme editor.
6. Assign the template to your bundle
   In the BYOB app, open your bundle settings and select byob-embed.
   Your bundle will now appear on its own Shopify product page — styled consistently with your store, but separate from regular products
